I talked a bit about the CinchItUp Club page that I created on FaceBook last post, but here is my first photo upload to that page.  It’s been 4 weeks since I started Cinch and I have lost over 10 Lbs.  I will be posting how many inches I’ve lost once I find my measuring tape. LOL!  But for now, I leave you with the visual loss I have experienced.  I am passionate about loosing weight, and also helping others in their journey.  I would love to have anyone that is loosing weight or wanting to lose weight to join my FaceBook page.  I want to see people succeed and achieve their goals.  So let’s team up and keep each other motivated!

Dreams? Wants? What are yours?

20 08 2012

Everybody has dreams or wants in life, so the question I pose today is what are your dreams or wants?

Do you want time to party?

Do you want to help others?

Do you dream of a european vacation?

Do you dream of a nice new car?

What is it that motivates you in your life?  What is it that makes you want to be your best to try and achieve a new level in your life?  I know for me, travel is high up on the list.  In fact this year Shaklee has announced the Top Achievers Trip, and it is to Paris!  Do I want and dream of that trip…..YES I DO!  Not only is it a trip to Paris, but it includes something that I don’t think I’d ever be able to have without Shaklee.  One night, only the Top Achievers from Shaklee will be in the Louvre!  Can you imagine being in the Louvre with people that you know or have something in common with?  That will be EPIC!

So I challenge you all to find something that makes you dream or something that you want, and make that a motivation in your life.  It’s amazing what kind of power you can get from a want or dream.

If you want to join me in the dream of Paris, let’s get this party started and get you on a road to success, wealth, health, and freedom!  And if you aren’t quite ready for that step yet, follow my blog and maybe I can be a help to motivate you in whatever you are trying to achieve!  Carpe Diem!!

Opening Up….To Success

26 07 2012

My thoughts today have been aimed at how everyone and anyone can become successful.  I realized that to be successful there are a few things that you must have.  I’m not talking about “the government” I’m talking about what a person needs in themselves to be successful.

Confidence is a must for success.  Knowledge is important, but not quite as important as confidence.  Drive is also very important, when you can push yourself to do what other’s might not think you can do is invaluable.  But, I started thinking that opening up, might just be one of the more important aspects of gaining success.

I don’t just mean opening up to people you are working with, or selling to, I mean opening up to the reality of success.  You have to have it built into you that you “can” be successful before you “will” be successful.  So on this Thursday afternoon, look at yourself and ask yourself if you are open to success.  If you said no, then try to figure out what can help you change that to a yes and get yourself on the road to success.  My 2 cents for the day!

Remembrance is Power

29 05 2012

So after this weekend, I started thinking about the power that remembering those that have passed before us can bring.
I mean, I haven’t seen a world war! I was raised by my grand “parents” and my dad had many stories from WWII that he shared with me. The reason I think remembering family that have gone before is quite simple. They went through a lot of things that my generation hasn’t had to deal with. That in itself gave them a greater respect for others, and country. I feel like in this day the respect is lost. For all of you that remember when 9-11 happened, I think that had an impact on us at the time and we had pride in our country again.
I don’t think we need tragedies to happen in order for us to have pride in our country and love for eachother….we just need to look back on events throughout time that have impacted us or those that came before us.
Why is remembering power? Because it can change the way we view our situation and humble us to the point we are grateful for our freedom, and ultimately our power to choose.
My love and thanks go out to all military that are active, inactive, or as my dad is passed on. I thank you for your pride in our country and the freedoms it provides! Also, my good feelings of love and care go out to all of you. Let us remember what we should be thankful for everyday and it will empower our society!
